Meira is a practicing astrologer, living in New York City. Her busy schedule includes working with clients, teaching, lecturing and writing - all of which take place both in the US and overseas.

She is a teacher and a mentor for the Supervision Program for the Faculty of New York chapter of the NCGR (National Council for Geo-cosmic Research), and a lecturer on a wide variety of topics in conferences.

She began her astrological studies in Israel in 1978, came to the USA in 1981 and joined the NCGR in 1982. Her parallel careers included teaching English as a Second Language and many years as a computer systems programmer analyst.

PRACTICE OF ASTROLOGY

Meira considers the day-to-day practice of her client work as one of the most rewarding and important aspects of her career in astrology. Her consultations are very comprehensive and cover all areas of life from the personal to the mundane. Clients find this astrological guidance helpful and invaluable in making important decisions in their lives.

TEACHING ASTROLOGY

Meira provides classes that cover all levels of astrology, from beginners to advanced, geared towards the complete NCGR Certification Program.  One of her specialties is Teaching Astronomy for Astrologers and Chart Calculation.

Her main intellectual focus is on the revival of ancient and classical texts and techniques, integrating them into the current modern practice. The other focus is on how to use the modern Uranian System, combining it seamlessly and effortlessly with the traditional methods.
