Here is How the Technology Works - Extremely Simple:

 

There is a variety of communication methods available - combining TEXT, VOICE/SOUND and VIDEO.

These range from Messengers to VOIP technology.

 

VOIP  (Stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol)

It means that you can use your computer as a telephone - and your voice travels over the Internet lines to another computer, anywhere in the world. 

All you need is a microphone and speakers, or better yet, a headset.

If you purchase a PC camera (webcam - very inexpensive), we can even see each other.

 

Certain services offer it FREE OF CHARGE. One of them is SKYPE ( www.Skype.com )

All you need to do is download and install their software. 

The Id you create for yourself identifies you to the world. 

This means that you are not paying a dime for the phone call !

(It can also be used, as pre-paid phone, for very low rates, to call computer-to-landline-phone)

 

MSN Messenger (or other Messengers).  http://messenger.msn.com 

This is also a FREE service that integrates Text-Voice-Video communication over the Internet -- Computer-to-Computer.

Again - you download, install, and create you Id.

It's that simple.  No fee whatsoever..

 

Using This Technology -- We Will Be Able To Do the Following:

   We will have a one-on-one discussion as in a classroom situation.

 

 

How Do You Pay?

 

The rate is $50 per 1 hour.  (Optimal session is 1 1/2 hour)

Sign up for minimum of 2 sessions at a time.

 

The cost also covers the study materials that are provided.

Payment is made in advance, based on the agreed amount of online study time.
